22nd November – About 150 persons attended the awareness program held at Somaiya hospital. Dean of the hospital Dr. Dewoolkar took time from his busy schedule to inaugurate the program. Medical and psychosocial aspects of epilepsy were explained and the film ‘Epilepsy the Untold Story’ shown. A Q&A session and tea and snacks ended the day’s program. Needless to say that Dr. Sujatha Kanhere (Neurologist Somaiya Hosp), Ruchi Saxena (UCB Pharma) and Dr. Urvashi Shah (IEA Jt. Secretary) who did most of the organization, were very happy with the outcome of the program.
