We celebrated National Epilepsy Day at Vivekananda Education Society’s College of Arts, Commerce & Science and were very impressed by the attentive and participative students.  Prof. Bhaskaran took the initiative to organize the program.  His enthusiasm and that of his colleagues and the Principal clearly spread to the students.  Prof. Bhaskaran compered the program which started with a classical violin performance by Ingrid Monteiro, Nigel and Kyle.  10 year old Kyle impressed the audience.  Dr. Jayanti Mani then spoke about epilepsy and ended her talk with a video of epilepsy myths and misconceptions. Q&As followed the talk.  Carol, Ingrid and Kyle ended the program  with the well known hymn ‘Make Me a Channel of Your Peace..”.  Pooja Nandi then  gave a heartfelt vote of thanks.
