At the Dahanu Cottage Hospital on 29th March, Samman held another medical camp for rural patients. These camps are vital for reaching individuals who might otherwise struggle to access consistent neurological care and life-changing medication.

It was an intensive, heartening day of service, and we are proud to share the impact of this collective effort.

Camp Impact

Our dedicated team of doctors, technicians, and volunteers was at work the full day of camp.

• 122 Patients Consulted: Every single patient who attended received a thorough consultation and a supply of their essential medicines.
• Focus on the Future: We were particularly glad to see 50 pediatric patients. Early diagnosis and management in children are crucial for their long-term development and quality of life.
• Diagnostic Support: Our team successfully conducted 14 EEGs, providing the objective data necessary for accurate treatment plans in a rural setting.
• Specialized Care (Occupational Therapy): The OT team played a critical role, seeing 12 patients. Their practical interventions included:
  • 4 new splints custom-made for patients.
  • 4 refurbished splints to ensure ongoing comfort and functionality.
