We spent the morning of Valentine’s Day interacting with other NGOs and customers.  It is always a pleasure to take part in this exhibition cum sale organized by the Indus Festival of Charities.  Our products included greeting cards & tags, fancy paper bags, jute bottle bags / wine bottle bags, crocheted items like baby suits, mobile phone covers, handkerchiefs, hand bags etc.  These products were made by Tanvi, Sydney, Sarah, Suruchi and others.   We also took this opportunity to visit the Kala Ghoda festival and of course lunch at Leopolds!

 

We have a new volunteer – Stefan Michael has come all the way from Marburg, Germany to work with us.  He is a special educator and social worker actually specializing in Alzheimers, but due to his own experience with epilepsy wished to work with us.  On 13th March he will leave to work for a month with ARDSI in Kerala where he has volunteered before.  Stefan’s first day with us was at the Indus Festival of Charities – we hope he enjoyed the experience and wish him all the best!
