10th January, 2009: Our first support group meeting this year was well attended. 6 new people came and actively participated in the discussions. After exercises and introductions interspersed with Q&As,  it was suggested that at the next meeting we share a meaningful story – could be from a holy book – and if time permits have a debate – suggested topic ‘Reading is a useful hobby’.  Each member then enjoyed a one minute game and the fresh hot samosas and chai that followed.  The next meeting will be held at Dr. Pravina Shah’s residence on 24th January from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m – see page ‘Coming Events’.
