This September we have had 3 events already: An epilepsy clinic in Pen on the 17th which was attended by over a 100 patients, the support group meeting which focused on Sleep and Epilepsy on the 23rd, and on the 24th we participated in an exhibition cum sale, organized by the alumni of St. Joseph’s Convent, Bandra.
As usual we were satisfied with the turnout of the patients at Pen. Neurologists Dr. Pravina Shah and Dr. Joy Desai, & General Practitioner Dr. Wagle attended to the patients, while Minal with Mahesh’s help in the beginning handed out files to the large number of patients who were already waiting when we arrived. Sujatha, Mahesh and I distributed medicines.
Today we are having an epilepsy education program at Tulsi Technical Institute at Chembur. Neurologist Dr. Jayanti Mani has kindly agreed to do the same.
