For April 2024’s Support Group Meeting, Samman organized a storytelling workshop on April 20, 2024 (Saturday).
India’s history is filled with folktales narrated orally. As a tradition, storytelling improves listening skills and aids in improving command over language. It also develops one’s imagination. Nidhi Bagaria, a well-known storyteller and founder of the creative worlds, facilitated the session with her enchanting storytelling and interactions. Nidhi also conducted a fun bookmark-making activity for our members.
More than 30 people joined the support group meeting at ADAPAT, Samman’s office in Bandra.
We also celebrated the birthday of Samman’s founder, Dr Pravina Shaha, who enters her 80th year this month. Along with her, we celebrated other Samman stars born in April – Samman’s President Dr Sangeeta Ravat, former trustee Carol D’Souza and members Keyur and Manohar.
Members enjoyed the workshop and the activity.
