Dr. Gagandeep needs praise for his organizing skills.  He and his team hosted an enriching academic and social program.  The two gala dinners given at the conference were the icing on the cake.  The night at Haveli in Jalandhar (25th) showcased the rural life of Punjab along with Punjabi dance and song.  26th was the grand inauguration with a wonderful magic show, cocktails and dinner.  The day (27th) attended by patients and caregivers had sessions on epilepsy and the media, an oration by Dr. Urvashi Shah on Epilepsy – Beyond Seizures and a debate on Should status of epilepsy be disclosed or not.   On the 28th, 31 of us went by bus (14 from Pune, 13 from Mumbai and 4 from Bangalore) visited the Jalianwala Baug, Golden Temple and Wagah border in Amritsar.  All in all an enriching experience!
