This was more than just a movie outing because it felt like a celebration of inclusion, belonging, and the beautiful spectrum of neurodiversity.
Our members and friends gathered at Mumbai’s Citylights Cinema for a special screening of Sitaare Zameen Par — a sports film that beautifully portrays the lives of children with intellectual disabilities and neurodivergent minds.
The theater was buzzing with joy and the hall was filled with neurodivergent members, caregivers, epilepsy warriors, and their supportive allies. It reminded us how powerful community can be — especially for those living with conditions like epilepsy and other neurological differences.
We believe that neurodiversity awareness and inclusion aren’t just random words. For many, they’re a way of life. Events like these reaffirm the importance of creating safe, joyful spaces for people with epilepsy, learning disabilities, and other neurological conditions to thrive, connect, and celebrate life.
Our deepest gratitude goes out to ChildRaise Trust for hosting us and making this magical afternoon possible. Their commendable work in the disability space continues to create real change.
And to everyone who showed up — caregivers, volunteers, families, friends, and individuals who came just as they are — thank you. 💜
May we continue to nurture an environemnt of empathy, visibility, and togetherness.
