Smash Epilepsy.

That was our motto for the wonderful and fun filled badminton session with our coaches Rohit and Vinaconducted in Goregaon on January 27, 2024.

Rohit is a national badminton coach and an epilepsy warrior. He says, “learning new things is never ending.” And with this approach, members of Samman set out to smash epilepsy and the stigma associated with it through badminton. The most common of them being that people with epilepsy can’t have successful careers. That, epilepsy and seizures limit one’s capacity and competency.

The people in the photos and videos (above) have diverse careers: graphic designer, professional storyteller, HR, salesperson, entrepreneur and so on. And they also happen to have epilepsy.

Ask any warrior and they’ll tell you that epilepsy can never be the only thing that defines them.

Let’s keep smashing the stigma.
