On May 31st, 2025, Samman held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) — a meaningful gathering that brought together our Managing Committee, members, and caregivers to reflect on the journey of the past financial year and chart our course for the future.

The AGM opened with a comprehensive review of our activities and impact over the last year. From grassroots awareness initiatives to rural outreach, 2024–25 was a year of expansion, learning, and deepened community engagement. We revisited milestones achieved in rural epilepsy camps, wellness training, and public awareness campaigns such as the Jiyo Samman Se Run — each shaped by the tireless work of our dedicated members and volunteers.

A special part of this year’s meeting was dedicated to acknowledging the individuals and teams who made this growth possible. We paused to appreciate and honour:

• The Running Committee, whose vision and leadership steered our activities with purpose and clarity.
• Rural Camp Doctors and Volunteers, who brought healthcare directly to underserved communities through on-ground medical outreach.
• Trainers and Facilitators, who led impactful community development and wellness training programs across multiple regions.
• Public Awareness Champions, whose commitment helped spread knowledge on critical health and social issues, generating informed communities especially in the corporates.
• Fundraiser Helping Hands, whose efforts helped us gain valuable resources to kep us running and working.

And we also acknowleged the consistent efforts of our members who strengthened Samman’s identity as a community-first organisation.

Looking ahead, the AGM outlined key focus areas for the upcoming year. We left the meeting inspired by the power of collective action — and deeply grateful for every person who has contributed to Samman’s mission.
