Hi!  We are planning to raise epilepsy awareness among school children in the months of Nov, Dec & Jan.  For this we send 500 letters to different schools.  At the support group meeting on Oct 9, our members helped in this project by pasting the addresses on envelopes.  We have titled E-STAR which stands for Epilepsy – Student & Teacher Awareness Reachout, and the first two schools we are going to are Loretto Convent in Chembur on the 1st of Nov and Sir JJ School for Girls on the 2nd of Nov.  After that Diwali holidays begin.  After the holidays we plan to go to a lot more schools.  After each talk registration forms for the essay ‘My Friend Has Epilepsy’ is being handed out to the school.  The competition will be in 2 languages English and Hindi and the first five entries from each school will receive an appreciation prize.

On the 23rd we discussed E-Con to be held in Ludhiana.  We hope that a lot of you will join us on this trip.
